Довольно интересная тема о возможностях создания 64-битного Power BASIC`а
Боб уже ведет его разработку:

Now, some folks have twisted my words around to suggest that PowerBASIC will never offer a 64-bit compiler. Or that it is so far into the future that it's meaningless. That is not true. That's a fabrication.

There will be a 64-bit PowerBASIC. I've confirmed that several times already. In fact, we've already done a substantial amount of work on it. But it won't be finished or released next week. We'll make the investment and release it when the market is reasonable and will support it.

that is a very long discussion about the 64bit version of powerbasic and more emotion than facts. i don't think that powerbasic can offers such a version in this or next year. but the hope dies at last.

64-битная версия нужна еще вчера, PureBasic уже давно ее имеет например

На официальном форуме опять написали, что 64-битная версия разрабатывается. Но когда она будет - неизвестно.
Возможно что ждать прийдется очень долго.
