I need an old (1997) multiplayer Visual Basic game decompiled, source code retrieved, and remade. By remade, I mean the game needs to be decompiled to retrieve frontend code, but backend server code will also need to be made to make the game work in multiplayer.

I have the full front-end (player) game files, including all executables, artwork, map files, etc.. Game was programmed using Visual Basic.

I know this is rather easily do-able, because another multiplayer game running the same source code was already decompiled and remade to work on a new server by an amateur.

The game's copyright/trademarks have been abandoned, and there are no legal issues.

So, to summarize:

Step 1: Decompile frontend .exe file, and retrieve source code.

Step 2: Create backend server code to correspond to frontend source code, to make the game playable in multiplayer mode.

Project budget is not final. I am open to your suggestions.
