Я уже сам не знаю, куда катится это "бронепоезд". Net врядли.
OCX вполне возможно. Прошлый год хорошо шли тривиальные продукты под сокеты. Фактически "протолкольные" сетьевые программы. Что сейчас будет, сказать трудно. Для оценки ситуации можно глянуть "предложение работы от прямого работодателя" на rsdn.ru, это я к тому, что сейчас востребовано на постсоветском пространстве.

Сборки .NET можно заюзать на PB хоть сейчас.
